A few miles north and west of Jefferson in Greene County is a farmstead with an old barn that once was the home to all kinds of farm animals. These days, the animals have been replaced by antiques.
On a recent Saturday, a couple friends and I were out and about in the Jefferson area and made a stop at Eweniquely Yours, a great family owned small business specializing in antiques, primitives, collectibles, and other home furnishings.
The family that lives on the acreage has converted the front half of their horse barn into a beautiful antique shop. There's so much to look at that it even spills out into the space in front of the building.
Walking in, you wouldn't know that the space was occupied by animals only a few short years ago. From floor to ceiling, it's been beautifully finished off. The lighting fixtures are even old metal feed pans.
Whether you like old furniture or classic home decor, jewelry, art, or linens, there's no shortage of high quality items.
There's a lot to do in Greene County - from visiting the bell tower to checking out Deal's Orchard. If you are in the area, definitely stop on out to visit the very kind folks who own Eweniquely Yours. It's a great collection of items that is always changing. Whether you need something or a gift for someone else, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Check out their Facebook page and give them a like. I'm sure they'll post regular updates as well.
